About the Fallston Cup
The Fallston Cup is the premier end of season tournament played in November, at the Fallston Recreation fields in Fallston, Maryland. The Boys Fallston Cup tournament was founded in the fall of 1994, with the Girls Fallston Cup added the following year, in 1995. The tournament allows teams to cap their seasons with a tournament providing great competition and one last soccer adventure before the holidays. The tournament is well organized and always manned with many friendly and helpful volunteers. Fallston Cup attracts over 400 teams for the two weekends of the girls and boys tournaments and is one of the few tournaments with brackets available for recreational teams. Teams come from all over Maryland as well as Delaware, Pennsylvania and Virginia to join in the competition and fun.
The Fallston Cup annually sees over 400 teams competing in the Cup. The Cup typically has 10 venues with 36 fields used for play. We are 100% volunteer run. Thanks to all the volunteers who work many days and nights leading up to this event as well as on the days of the event - it is always a success due to your efforts!
The tournament is open to all US Soccer Federation (USSF) affiliates. In addition to those teams, we also host brackets for local rec all-star teams as a great way to cap their season.
First and second place teams will receive individual player trophies, AND those teams will be invited to Fallston Cup Night at a Baltimore Blast game.
Trainers from Upper Chesapeake Medical System will be on hand at our two largest sites to assist with any injuries or medical concerns.
