Fall 6-8th INDOOR Volleyball (Aug 31 - Oct 29)
Exciting News! New Format for 2026!!!
We are excited to announce that Fallston Rec Volleyball and Bel Air Rec Volleyball have partnered to have the county's first inter-rec council volleyball league! Both Rec Councils will have 12 teams with an equal mix of beginner and advanced teams. The exact split will depend on the number of players who are deemed to be beginner's vs advanced based on answers in the registration form. Teams will be coed. Only sign up for one rec council program based on schedule and location.

- Fallston Rec teams will practice twice a week on Mondays and Thursdays between 5:45 and 8:45 PM for one hour at the Chenowith Center.
- Bel Air Rec teams will practice twice a week Mondays and Thursdays or Tuesdays and Fridays between 6:00 and 9:00 PM for one hour at Homestead Wakefield Elementary School.
- All matches will be at the Chenowith Center in Fallston on Saturdays between 9 AM and 4 PM.
- Cost: $110/player, includes volleyball shirt

How do I know if my player should play at the advanced level?
If your player is able to serve a regulation volleyball (not the light ball used in 12U and under club volleyball) from behind the end line (no step in line) and over a women's height net (not the junior height used in 12U and under club volleyball) 8 of 10 times, your player may be ready for the advanced level.
Players who cannot serve as described above will be a detriment to their team in the advanced division and may be moved to the beginner division. Club experience and rec experience will also be considered when forming teams. Up to two requests to be on a team with a specific coach or player can be requested but are not guaranteed. Siblings at the same level will be on the same team unless requested otherwise. We will absolutely not keep club teams together.
Spring 6-8th BEACH Volleyball (mid-April to mid-June)
- Clinic option (1x/week for 6 weeks) for beginners to intermediate players looking for additional development before joining a league team.
- League/team play is for intermediate to advanced players, emphasizing fast movement and team strategy while handling sand and outdoor conditions in a competitive 4-on-4 game, which can be challenging for beginners still learning fundamentals and frustrating for more advanced opponents.
- This is a conventional league that plays competitive 4-on-4 games on an outdoor sand court.

- Fixed teams: Form your team, then each individual registers and identifies teammates during registration. (min 5 players but 6 or more per team is recommended)
- Individuals may register without a team but NO GUARANTEE you’ll be placed. Full teams take priority. Full refund, if not placed.
- Each team identifies/recruits its own coach(es)
- Cost:
- Clinic $60 option, includes Beach Volleyball shirt
- League $80, includes Beach Volleyball tank top
- Location: Fallston Beach – Reckord Road Park, 800 Mountain Road
- Clinic: Sunday afternoons for 6 weeks
- Coed Quads League: Mon or Wed evenings and Saturday mornings
