OVERVIEW
The Fallston Girls Lacrosse Program fields Cougar teams at every age group
and a variety of skill levels. From the future stars in our Little Laxers program
(girls ages 3–4) to our Juniors age group for girls ages 13–15 (8th grade), our
program offers the opportunity for girls of all ages within our community to
learn the game of lacrosse and develop their skills at every level.
Our Little Laxers and Clinic programs are run “in-house,” while we offer
various levels of travel options at each age group, including graduation-year
teams that serve as our most competitive option with a year-round schedule.
Our spring season runs from late February/early March through early June;
however, a detailed program overview for the 2024–2025 season can be
found in the "Program Structure" section below.
FALLSTON GIRLS' LACROSSE COACHES
The Fallston Girls’ Lacrosse Program was built by dedicated volunteers who are passionate about sharing the game of lacrosse with the next generation. We welcome players of all skill levels~from beginners picking up a stick for the first time to experienced athletes looking to grow their game at the club level.
Our coaches are the backbone of our program. Through their leadership, encouragement, and commitment, we aim to foster a lifelong love of lacrosse in every player.
Coaches interested in joining our program are required to complete registration through the link HERE. A background check must be completed prior to being approved to coach within our program.
Our annual coach’s clinic will be prior to the season and give coaches everything they need to set their paths for success.
Thank you for choosing to be a part of our lacrosse family!

PROGRAM STRUCTURE
The Fallston Girls Lacrosse program offers team play for youth from Preschool through 8th grade.
Our offerings include both recreational and club programs. Within the REC program, we provide developmental teams at the second and third grade levels for players ready to take on a higher level of commitment and intensity. Placement on these teams is determined through winter evaluations.
FLC (Fallston Lacrosse Club) holds tryouts each summer for dedicated athletes who want to compete at a high level year-round, for rising 4th graders and above. At FLC, we believe the happiest and most successful athletes are multi-sport athletes, and we respect that in-season sports should take priority when conflicts arise.

Graduation Year-Based Teams
Our club teams offer a highly competitive opportunity for players within the program and community of the specified graduation year to develop skills and play throughout the year with additional league play and tournaments above and beyond the current recreation offering during the traditional spring season.
Currently, we have the following club level teams. More information can be found by clicking on the individual team link below.
*NEW in 2025: Our newest FLC High School team! Follow us for more information about this exciting high school opportunity!
OFFSEASON PROGRAMS
Our program encourages multi-sport participation. We will also offer opportunities throughout the year for girls interested in continuing to play lacrosse outside of the regular spring season; however these offerings are not a requirements to participate in the spring season. We work to schedule these opportunities as so not ot conflict with in-season sports.

WARRIORS HAVE SCARS
In Memory of Mackenzie Opdyke

"Warriors have scars." From 2022-2023, the Fallston Girls Lacrosse community walked alongside MacKenzie Opdyke, her sister, Addy, and their parents as Kenzie bravely fought an extremely rare and aggressive type of brain cancer.
While young in age, Kenzie's maturity and huge presence could be felt wherever she went... whether it was in the goal she loved defending or on the sidelines cheering on her sister and friends. The bravery and conviction in which she approached her journey was inspiring to all who knew her and the profound effect she's had on this community has no bounds.
Kenzie's parents reminded us what a joy and privilege it is to get to watch kids play and run and just be kids without a care in the world. As we've had to say goodbye to Kenzie, please carry this joy with you and share it with your kids in Kenzie's memory.
